Terms of use
Terms of use of this site and of the request for a proposal. Written to be read: what the site does, what it does not do and how to reach us.
Courtesy translation. The Portuguese version prevails.
Scope
These terms apply to the use of the Sol de Volta site and the request for a proposal. By using the site, you accept them.
The site receives requests for a proposal for existing solar systems.
A request for a proposal is not a contract
Sending a request does not oblige you to anything. We reply within 48 hours: that is the time to answer you, not to carry out the work.
After the request we talk to you and assess your system, remote first and with a site visit if needed. A service contract exists only if you accept a proposal.
The terms of the work, the price, the right of withdrawal in distance or off-premises contracts where it applies, and the legal guarantee are in the proposal and in the applicable law. Nothing in these terms reduces them.
Information on the site
What the site says about equipment and systems is general information. Every system is different: only the assessment and the proposal say what applies to yours.
We do not promise savings or payback figures: the result depends on your system, consumption and tariff.
Proper use
Give true information in the request. Do not use the site to send spam, to try to reach non-public areas or to harm its operation. Do not write health data or data about other people in the request.
Content and intellectual property
The texts, illustrations and logo on the site belong to Sol de Volta or are used with permission. You may view the site and share its link. You may not copy or reuse the content without our permission.
Liability
We work to keep the site available and correct, but there may be interruptions or errors. The site may link to third-party sites, for which we are not responsible.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that the law does not allow to be excluded, or a consumer’s legal rights, including the legal guarantee.
Personal data
How we handle the data in your request is described in the privacy notice.
Complaints and disputes
If you are a consumer, you may also turn to an alternative consumer dispute resolution entity: CNIACC, the Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo (www.cniacc.pt), or the consumer arbitration centre for your region. The list of entities is on the Portal do Consumidor (www.consumidor.gov.pt).
Portuguese law applies to these terms, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one on this page. A change does not alter a request or a proposal already sent.
